Paul Kalkbrenner tickets are available for purchase right here.
Hosted by The M, your German techno phenom, genius, super star, visionary -- I don't use these words lightly, heavens no -- Paul Kalkbrenner, is playing the first night of Mao Livehouse at their new location (click here for address). He's supported by a full dance-card of DJs -- B6, Ben Huang, Charp, Skinny Babou, Milan J -- and tickets are 100rmb in advance vs. 150rmb at the door.
Here's the deal with Kalkbrenner at Mao Livehouse on March 25: The venue is also booked for a Jue Festival show, featuring Shanren, a Yunan folk band playing at that venue earlier in the night. That one ends earlier, and the Kalkbrenner thing happens afterwards at 11pm. There are two different admission fees for the two events. If you're slotting in Shanren for your evening, you go earlier at 8pm and that's a 60rmb entry fee. If you're going to Kalkbrenner, show up at like 11pm, with your ticket or 150rmb to pay that door fee.
If you're going to both, just show up early and walk around with several hundred rmb in your hand, held up over your head. Just give that to anyone who asks.
