The 3,500 square meter store sells everything from clothes and tents to plants and coffee. You can buy your whole life here, basically, just like in Muji, except for less. The first floor is mostly women’s clothes and a miscellaneous collection of fashion accessories. Top floor is a Whole 775 Restaurant and Bar serving all kinds of Japanese-Western food. Dianping slagged the thin crusts, insipid cheese and 88rmb price.
There’s much to see here, but not much worth buying, especially when most items are not as budget friendly as you’d expect, and some are outrageously overpriced. Like a neon green hoodie for 999rmb, a pair of scissors for 300rmb, or a small rug for 9000rmb. Many people came in excited and left empty-handed. That being said, the place itself is cozy, warm and inviting, and there’s coffee and food, so definitely not the worst place to spend a Saturday afternoon. If you can’t get into Muji.
