I like your optimism about people paying for your app. Slap some ads on it and call it a day. You'll make a lot more money.

I paid for the ios app many moons ago and it is no where near worth the money. My advice is get it while it's free. Way better free apps out there now.

@youwish: So you paid 14rmb (1/3 of the price of a beer in a bar in shanghai) for the app and it was "no where near worth the money"? What would be a reasonable price for an ad-free app that loads over 10,000 listings on your phone and provides independant ad-free event listings ?

@alex no your pricing is off. I paid 5 euro for it at the time. Also, you're comparing apples and oranges. I have no problem paying 5euro for a fine imported craft beer that does exactly like it's supposed to. I do have an issue with paying 5 euro for an inferior app. At the time and the app never updated it's information. It got an upgrade a few years back and it looks better and at least the listings update now but the articles still don't. I'm not saying don't get it, I'm just saying don't pay for it. It's an ok app, but there are way better free apps that I would use before I use smartshanghai's.

OK. First Impressions: Desing clean and neat. Listings: Downloads a new database every week, or upon request, so should always be uptodate.
Only bugs ive found so far are:
1.Maps dont load, If you click on an address it will show you where you are and where the location is but no map picture will load. neither baidu nor gmaps with VPN. NEEEEEEDS to be fixed!!!!!!
    2. After you login your favourites dont get synced to your app. So you have to rebuild the entire list again... proper backgrounding.
    4. put a directory search bar in the feed tab. safes me a second everytime i need to find something. or just make an option to switch the directory to primary tab on launch.
    5. Map prviews in search preview dont load(might be linked to point 1) It would be better to just put the venues logo there... most uf us recognize them easier anyway

Other than that can only recommend. far beats opening in a browser everytime you want to check something!!! GJ keep it up and maybe give the above points a little fixeruper
