Three Shows in April for Kids (Aged 6-14) With Special Needs

Shanghai Children's Art Theatre continues to turn its circular, immersive stage into a little island of decency and goodness. UK theater company Bamboozle is putting on three shows in April specifically adapted for children aged 6-14 with special needs (PMLD / ASC). Details and tickets after the jump.

Storm - Special Needs Children (ASC)

Shanghai Children's Theatre - 800 Miaojiang Lu, near Xizang Nan Lu

This 40-minute immersive theater piece weaves elements of Shakespeare’s Tempest into a dramatic sequence. Audience members are invited to touch props, wander within the sets, and interact at their own pace and level. Tickets here.

Gentle Giant - Special Needs Children (PMLD) Aged 6-14

Bamboozle adapts Michael Morpurgo’s enchanting Scottish fairy tale story, the Gentle Giant, into an immersive, multi-sensory experience for children with learning disabilities. Tickets here.

Moon Song - Special Needs Children (ASC)

Megan flies in a rocket to the moon, encountering comets, shooting stars and silvery tube creatures before the dream ends and she wakes up. With atmospheric music and Bamboozle’s trademark interactive style, Moon Song seeks to enchant and engage students. Tickets here.
