New Gyms and What They're Offering...

MOVE IT is a new dance studio with classes taught by choreographer and dancer Sarah Knop. Hour sessions are reasonably priced at 80rmb and right now you can buy two classes for 120rmb. Sarah's currently offering classes on Monday and Tuesday night, but plans to extend the schedule after September. The schedule is: Lady's Style (which apparently is sexy jazz...so I guess basically the cell block tango?) Monday 7-8pm, Zumba Monday 8-9pm, Hip Hop Tuesday 7-8pm, and another Lady's Style Tuesday 8-9pm. Pop! Six! Squish! Uh-uh! Cicero! Lipshitz!
News from the Ground
If you need some recovery time this weekend, the 5th Annual Healing Arts Festival is on from 10am-8pm Sunday. Learn how to lead a 'fulfilling, whole, beautiful existence' through 'holistic modalities.' If you're into that kind of thing, there'll be workshops, performances, and (healthy!) food vendors all day. There'll also be a place to store your kids at the event. Free entry, more info here.
Also: If you missed the article on Trash Running China, there'll be a run this Saturday followed by lots of green celebrating at Chin Chin by Wheat.
