Happening this Sunday and there still appear to be spots open. This is the annual family fun run for More Than Aware, a support group that empowers women to be proactive in the prevention and recovery of breast cancer. You can choose between a 2K and 5K. Costs 150rmb to join, but free for kids under 5. The run starts at 7.30am.
Culture Shock Tours wants you and your mom to hop on a vintage cruiser bike and ride through Xuhui on Sunday. They're teaming up with Fernanda Sung at Studio 5 & Designers of Craft'd so your mom can check out all the workshops they have on offer post ride (but come on, make her something special before). Kicks off at 1pm, and costs 350rmb per mom/person.
There's also Mother's Day Yoga BYGO at Iyengar Yoga Vidya (199rmb for two people) starts at 10.30am.

It's official, fighting for sport is the thing to do Shanghai. Here's another one for you LFcombatGYM, they offer personal training, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Body Building. They just opened on May 5, so they're offering a free trial to any newbies. After that, it's 7,200rmb for a package of 12 classes and when you get 12 you get 2 free. Trends don't come cheap...another fun fact is they're partners with Adidas and so have some combat sports gear on sale on their first floor.
