  • Editor's Description

The AHK (or Auslandshandelskammern) is a three-branch structure representing and supporting German-Chinese business relations, focusing on trade and investment. Membership provides access to various professional services and member platforms, including the directory of nearly 3,000 members. It also grants free entry to trainings and events, such as regular Deutscher Stammtischs and the annual German Ball, which attracts around 1,000 attendees every year. The AHK has five main offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, and eight additional offices in Greater China and Germany. The Chamber was first established in 1981 with an office in Taipei.
