The curriculum of Britannica International School, Shanghai is based on the English National Curriculum, enhanced to meet the needs of the expatriate population and offering students an opportunity to study Mandarin, to learn about the Culture, History and Geography of China, and to study Modern Languages. Britannica’s pupils are prepared for the Cambridge University and Edexcel International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the world recognised Advanced Level (AS and A2 Levels) leading to British and international university entrance. All teachers from Pre-Nursery to A Level are fully qualified and experienced teachers. The staff team is led by a Principal with extensive British private and international school experience.
