Locavore chef Austin Hu is cooking up a five-course dinner featuring poached shrimp salad with root veggies, preserved lemon and black garlic; toasted almond gnocchi with grouper; butter poached turkey breast with cranberry gastrique, torn bread salad and pumpkin puree; rolled turkey thigh with foie gras mousse, french beans, cauliflower puree and cranberry compote; and, for dessert, salted pecan and caramel tart with pumpkin pie ice cream. 500rmb for all that and you get a glass of bubbly along with it.
