Jazz legend Herbie Hancock is returning to Shanghai for what must be one of the jazz highlights of the year. He's a pianist, keyboardist and bandleader who worked extensively with Miles Davis and helped define the post-bop sound, before branching out into electronics and becoming an early pioneer of the analogue synth and how it would relate to funk, pop and electronic music for decades to come.
