It’s asparagus season again, and throughout May Xindalu’s chefs will prepare a seasonal menu of tender tips, cooked to perfection in such imaginative dishes as tossed green and white asparagus with lily bulb and walnut; wok-fried shrimps, green asparagus and abalone mushrooms with kung-po sauce; or steamed egg with white asparagus and pumpkin. Or, for the true indulgence, there’s pan-fried Wagyu beef with chili sauce and white asparagus. It’s a heavenly marriage of fresh gourmet ingredients and Eastern flavors.
