DDM warehouse will host the 3rd annual Rock for Charity concert event, showcasing a collaboration between Shanghai's underground music scene and energetic, crowd-pleasing teenage rock bands. Rock for Charity is quickly rising as one of the most successful fund-raising events of its kind. The event will be donating all of its profits to Shanghai Sunrise. Funding donated from this event will be used to assist underprivileged Chinese children in meeting their most basic needs as well as providing for their educational and medical requirements. Teenage bands will be performing during the day, from 1pm-6pm, followed by some of Shanghai's premier rock bands from 7pm-10pm. Among the bands that will be playing are Ferris Wheel, Mint, The Living Thin, and Loudspeaker. This event has been, in its entirety, promoted and organized by volunteer students, and staff. 40rmb. 1pm-late.
