The controversial young Grammy-nominated organist Cameron Carpenter, known for his wild interpretations and showmanship, arrives at the beautiful Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Hall for a night of Bach, Shostakovich, Hisaishi, and more. Carpenter received a Grammy nomination for "Best Solo Instrumental Performance (without orchestra) in 2009, making him the first organist to get that honor. He also released a super rare album called notes from the underground in 2005, which was financed by the Allen Organ Company but Carpenter had complete creative control over. Interesting guy, wild organist. Tickets range from 180–380rmb on SmartTicket, delivered to your door. Show starts at 7.30pm.
