Every Spring and Fall, Shanghai Fashion Week (SFW) takes over Xintiandi, with loads of domestic brands and a few foreign ones. The fashion is very hit and miss, but it's a great time to hang around Xintiandi and people-watch. Tickets are not available to the public – you'll need an invite from a brand – but are generally available from scalpers outside of the venue; prices vary heavily according to the show. You can find a full schedule on the Shanghai Fashion Week website. In general, each day has around eight shows, which run from around 1pm-8pm. Stay tuned for photos and a report from the ground.
