Zhang Ding: Enter the Dragon II
Editor's Description
K11 Art Foundation is teaming up with London's ICA to present the second installment of Zhang Ding’s ongoing project, Enter the Dragon. A followup to its 2015 UK debut, the work is inspired by Bruce Lee's seminal 1973 movie of the same name. With that in mind, Zhang Ding has transformed parts of K11's chi art space into a site-specific ‘mutating sound sculpture’, complete with mirrored surfaces and directional speakers to create an immersive environment. Weekly performances by musicians spanning a range of genres and selected by the artist take place inside the installation Saturday evenings throughout the show's duration. The schedule for that can be found here.
