About

The first of a new series of short-term artist-led experiences at the museum called HIGHLIGHTS, Zhang Ding's Devouring Time is a social experiment lunch affair. Under the close supervision of the artist, guests line up to get their mugshots taken before being ushered into a golden cage. Food comes courtesy of some of Shanghai's top chefs... and is inspired by prison fare. Certainly unique, incarceration costs 159rmb per person. Call ahead to book your cell - details here
