Swiss artist and musician Yannick Barman presents performance work, Stalker at Chronus Art Center this weekend. Inspired by Soviet and Russian film maker Tarkovsky, the piece incorporates images of Europe, Russia and Asia taken in the course of earlier tours from 2012 to 2015. Think untreated photos and videos, frequently in black and white, all set to bluesy, distorted trumpet, evoking a cinematographic universe and mysterious narrative. Dividing his time between trumpet and computer, crossover artist Barman performs at CAC 3-4pm this weekend.
