About

ACT Shanghai International Theater Festival is an annual international theatrical event inviting theater groups from around the world to perform in Shanghai. Focusing on contemporary works is the most important characteristic of the festival. During the festival, the latest and contemporary plays are presented, with each one reflecting the theate writing of its country or region. The festival is aimed at promoting original works with spirit of the age and new interpretations of classics. Six pieces in total. (Cantonese Dialogue; subtitles in English and Chinese)A work of physical theatre in storytelling form with an audacious and ground-breaking theatre directing approach — a Cantonese reinvention of a Shakespearean classic. Tickets from 180rmb on SmartTicket. Show times are 7.30pm and 2pm on Friday and Saturday, and 2pm on Sunday.
