Bridging Dispora, hosted by Sam Lu is a series mediating cultural differences and tensions between Chinese and diasporic Chinese through a queered lens. Held in a mixed format between talk, visual, and music, with plenty of audience participation. The aim is to explore and create dialogue around each other's backgrounds. This week, their focusing on queer online spaces on Western and Chinese Platforms. The talk will be interspersed with music and visual, and will later transition into a dance party. Free entry, and a happy hour from 9.30-11pm on 3 gin and tonics for 100rmb.
