Jululu Indie Book Fest is an annual celebration of independent publishing. The event includes a marketplace of independently published books and magazines, as well as talks and panel discussions on trends in publishing from designers, writers, and editors, such as Graham Earnshaw of Earnshaw Books, Juli Min of The Shanghai Literary Review, Sacco of Uptown Records, and a panel of writers hosted by Literary Shanghai. Talks are either in English or Chinese. Makers workshops will be hosted all weekend by members of Shanghai's beloved illustration team Shaving in the Dark. Workshops range from 50-150rmb. Talks and entry are free. Friday night: opening party only 7-10PM; Saturday & Sunday: talks, workshops, and zine/book marketplace 11AM-8PM.
