About

II Mountains is a exhibition of the paintings, drawings and poetry by Neil Enggist. Enggist was invited by Paper to participate in their artist residency program, painting in the dragonfly room, gestures made with brushes and roses on silk atop canvas primed with the color of various skies. He then traveled to Huangshan to paint the mountain directly and suddenly, painting 9 dragons peak with his grandmother’s (who was born in Shanghai) brushes and ink also writing poems in the lineage of Han Shan.
