Cotton Club Blues Night
Editor's Description
After 19 years and 5,000 shows, the venerable blues institution, Shanghai's world famous "Cotton Club," shut its doors on March 25 2017. The Royal Hombres were a fixture of the Shanghai music scene since the dawn of time. Led by inimitable blues legend, Greg Smith, with Jorland Paulino on bass, Eddy Lewis on guitar, Francesco Perre on drums, Yiko on vocals and Matt Cadillac Cooper on guitar and vocals, they held court at the Cotton Club for nearly twenty years, playing an eclectic mix of blues, jazz and funk. The Pearl is proud to welcome the whole team back for two nights of blues bliss, with special guest David Stone for the opening set! Doors open at 6pm, concert starts at 9pm and goes until late.
