A larky fable in two acts by Brecht. The Exception and the Rule is a short play by German playwright Bertolt Brecht in 1930, describing the harsh realities of the world. Shota Rustaveli State Drama Theatre presents its original version of the play staged with relevance in the modern world. The money-hungry merchant Karl Langmann who owns the biggest oil companies sets out across the desert to secure oil reserves with his guide and a coolie. This piece is in Georgian, with Chinese subtitles.
