Hakkasan celebrates Chinese New Year with a limited edition menu showcasing auspicious dishes bringing in joy and prosperity in the Year of the Golden Rat. The prix-fixe menu will be served until 8th February with the limited edition dishes available to order à la carte as well. Priced from 888rmb per person, highlights of the menu include Golden treasure pockets with abalone and wild mushrooms, a delicately fried dumpling in the shape of a dumpling resembling a money bag to welcome the arrival of wealth in the new year. As a cultural tradition to feature fish during new year gatherings, the Chilean seabass is served with the Dragon Well tea broth, presented in a siphon for a sensorial experience of sight, scent and taste, while bringing symbolic expressions of prosperity. Rounding off the menu is the indulgent Lucky Jie, a dessert with salted caramel ganache with mandarin, chili and cocoa that is presented as a Chinese knot to signify a tie and unity, for all to join, receive and connect.
