Open Air Performance Season is back again this year’s summer at the Shanghai Cultural Square. Starting from July 11 to August 13, live concerts will be played each weekend on the big lawn area in front of the concert hall. On opening Sunday, the concert features Senza Quartet, founded by four young talents in 2014. The group is one of the few string quartets in China that plays professionally. They have played at concert halls, art museums, as well as live houses and on the street, collaborating with artists in different disciplines, giving classical music a bold, edgy voice. They will be playing pieces from blockbuster films such as The Titanic, The Avengers, Pirates of The Caribbean, as well as musicals such as Cats and Phantom of the Opera.
