Synthwave, Italo-Disco, and anime-visuals club night Hologram Dreams (全息梦境) is dying. After three more parties, the night will become a memory. But first, Hologram Dreams must battle a rival crew - Synth Crush, from across town. The night goes like this: Velvet Robot, Illsee, Heatwolves, and Mervv each play two 45 minute sets in a rotation from 10pm, then go back to back from 3am. Anime visuals all night. Everything starts at 8pm with a free screening of the classic 1999 Cronenberg film, eXistenZ, featuring guns made of flesh and bones, virtual-reality-gone-wacko, and Jude Law. There’s free Homeslice pizza for the film while supplies last. Party starts at 10pm with Italo, EBM, Electro, City-Pop, and cybernetics until late late late. 50rmb before 11pm, 80rmb after.
