No.name Studio will hold the first event, Exploring Light — Creative Portrait Photography Workshop. Do you want to create amazing images using light from your smartphone, daylight, reflected-light, and some everyday household items? Join us for this fun afternoon at the beautiful No Name studio in ancient Zhujiajiao. You’ll look at the light in a whole new way. We welcome anyone who wants to learn how to play with light in a relaxing and creative environment. It’s up to you to bring your digital SLR camera, film camera, or just shoot on your phone. You’ll receive four hours of instruction from two experienced photographers, and the opportunity to work in small groups in a fabulous light-filled studio. Props will be provided but you are also welcome to bring your own sheer colored fabrics, anything shiny that creates a reflection and objects to shoot through as well as bottles or anything that can be filled with water. It is essential that you bring your smartphone with a built-in torchlight function and a charger and/or power bank. Please wear clothes in solid colors, without logos or patterns. Afternoon tea will be provided. Coffee, beer, and wine can also be purchased throughout the day.
