The workshop is an opportunity for illustrators, designers, art educators, art students and printmaking aficionados who are interested in employing screen printing as part of their artistic practice, as well as people who simply want to make some cool, personalized products. After the class, folks will have the skills needed to set up a home screen printing studio and continue making prints on their own. Learn practical, professional and fun skills:
1) Go through the complete screen printing process, from making stencils to pulling your own prints
2) Learn multiple ways to make stencils, including paper stencils and photo-emulsion stencils
3 Use screen printing to create experimental images
4) Practice a variety of printing techniques, from basic to advanced.
5) Print a tote bag and bring it home
