From now until November 27, SmartShanghai has an exclusive seafood buffet deal. With a modern interpretation of international and southeast Asian cuisine, Portman’s is well-known for its buffet dining. Singapore native, Executive Chef Xian introduces a luxury seafood buffet concept, From the Sea to Table, where every signature Singaporean seafood tray is served to the table à la minute with the rising of a ship’s bell. Seafood includes Boston lobster, alone, clam, baby octopus, crab, rice cakes, red skin, potato, and more. There will be 12 food stations total featuring dishes from king crab legs to freshly shucked oysters to mala pork xiaolongbao. Main courses include oyster tempura, wok sautéed shell seafood, and more. Prices are 428rmb per person and include a glass of house wine. Fridays and Saturdays only, 5.30 to 9.30pm.
