Seeds of Change is organizing a camping trip to Heartland on Chongming Island from August 20-22, 90 minutes away from downtown Shanghai. Join for a nature-filled weekend with the community, where optional activities include bonfires, farm work, picking fresh veggies and preparing dinner, permaculture workshop, natural building, carpentry, nature trails, guided meditation, and more. Heartland, as the name suggests, aims to reconnect our hearts with the land and planet, establish a connection between urban and rural, and connect likeminded people.
Departure is August 20, 6pm from Zhongshan Park. Bring you passport or ID, water bottles, beverages, and cutlery. Fees include bus, meals (excl. drinks), activities, and accommodation. Early bird prices depend on availability of rooms or date. Children under 10 have discounted prices. Trip will be 15-25 people, sharing 3 toilets. Dogs not allowed.
