In a year-long outdoor exhibition ending May 22, 2022, UCCA Edge presents "Urban Theater: A Comedy in Four Acts" with site-specific installations by Cao Fei, Aki Sasamoto, and Wong Ping and an outdoor installation by Erwin Wurm. Opened concurrently with its inaugural exhibition "City on the Edge", this group show transforms the wraparound outdoor terrace of the museum into a thought-provoking space for public art, stimulating new curiosities and interactions with art for the museum's new audience in Shanghai. "Urban Theater: A Comedy in Four Acts" is curated by UCCA Curator Ara Qiu.
UCCA Edge is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 7pm, with last admission at 6.30pm. Closed on Mondays. Tickets are 100rmb and can be purchased through UCCA's mini-program. Senior citizens aged 60 and above, disabled guests, and students with valid ID are eligible for discounted tickets at 60rmb. Children under 1.2m can enter for free.
