About

Half of the world’s population lives in urban areas. By 2050 this is projected to increase to 80%. Life in a mega city is both enchanting and problematic. Today we face peak oil, climate change, loneliness and severe health issues due to our way of life. But why? Join Seeds of Change, in support of World Cities Day (31 October), to ask important questions about the cities we live in. Film screening will be followed by discussions with architect John Villar, who is currently undertaking his thesis on the subject of 'desirable cities.' Limited spaces, register early. Film does not come with Chinese subtitles.
