Lads and lassies, boys and twirls - the Freaky Deaky island6 Circus Show is about to begin. They've got it all from balancing funambulists to thrilling acts of dare. This exhibition playfully interrogates the aesthetics of the circus and the relationship it has built with audience members and visitors since its inception. Like E.E. Cummings, they say, “Damn everything but the circus! Damn everything that is grim, dull, motionless, unrisking... That won't throw its heart into the tension, surprise, fear and delight of the circus, the round world, the full existence!”
