Cellist Zhu Lin will perform pieces from "The Rite of Death," originally a death-themed work written by Mahler alone, which later became the first movement of "Second Symphony "Resurrection." He will also play some of Tchaikovsky's "Variations on a Rococo Theme," a work full of nobility and Zemlinsky's symphonic poem "The Little Mermaid," inspired by Andersen's classic fairy tale "The Daughter of the Sea."
