Following the success of “Chicago” last year, Wellington Shanghai is now presenting “The Wiz 2022” as their Senior School Musical. This retelling of the classic Wizard of Oz story is set to Motown music and promises to bring funk and soul to the Land of Oz. Made famous by Michael Jackson and Diana Ross who played in the movie version of the show, Wellington's pupils in years 9 through 13 have been rehearsing for months to transport audiences to the land of the munchkins, witches and funky monkeys.
