The grand opening concert of the Italian language week in Shanghai with an opera concert by the Shanghai Nova Sinfonietta, conducted by Roberto Fiore and with Mezzo Soprano Beatrice Fanetti and Soprano 李梦石。This concert takes place at Spaceless, a new concert hall inside the historical church at the Rockbund on the Bund. Shanghai Nova Sinfonietta is one of the newest opera groups in Shanghai, formed by Roberto Fiore—Italian conductor of orchestra, composer, and associate professor at Nantong University—, and Dong Kun—Concertmaster of the Orchestra and an active musician, manager, and organizer with long experience both in Shanghai and in China. It's composed by talented musicians from Shanghai, an amazing group of professional singers, and former students of the Italian Conservatories. The singers are trained directly by Maestro Fiore and they follow the Italian Operatic traditions. They are a beautiful group of people dedicated to the pursuit and mastery of the depth of each element of the Italian language fused with the music.
