We went to Italian Design Icons last year, and it was a pretty fun gathering of Italian executives all done up in their business suits. It's a rare opportunity to go and talk directly to some foreign companies, especially big ones like like Maserati, Pirelli, Luxottica. It's the 8th edition of this exhibition, and like before there will be oodles of food and sparkling wine to make for a fun tryst (bring your friends, especially those interested in Italy, Italians, design, etc!). All three days are open to the public, with a diverse program of lectures, workshops, and a B2B networking event that promises an immersive encounter with what can universally be recognized as ITALIAN DESIGN. Great for those seeking insights into the latest trends and developments in the world of design, and for making worthwhile connections with Shanghai's Italian movers and Shakers.
