About

This exhibition features over twenty representative series of paintings created by the artist in recent years. The exhibition's title is derived from the artist's exploration and experience in her creations. Mun Chaeeun's artistic practice focuses on the self-alienation and psychological dilemmas that arise from people's emotional repression in modern society. She is aware of the conflicts and struggles between the self as a subject and the self constructed by society. Her works often use wind as a clue to express and capture complex emotions such as hidden anger, sadness, depression, and anxiety, conveying those moments of nuanced emotions and unspoken thoughts.
