You may not have heard of William Wegman, but you’ve likely seen the iconic portraits of dogs wearing sunglasses, hats, fashionable outfits, or elegant clothing, all while striking serious, human-like poses. These classic images are his work. This exhibition will showcase a series of representative photographs by William Wegman, created in collaboration with his pet dogs. For the first time in Shanghai, visitors will also see the Polaroid 20x24 large-format camera, an important creative medium for the artist. This pet-friendly exhibition requires visitors to present proof of pet vaccination, inoculation records, or a dog license (any one of these will suffice) if you want to bring your dog.
