FalseGods, ‘brew a bodacious blend of black metal, death metal, thrash, metalcore, and deathcore’ - was born during the pandemic with members hailing from Montreal and Jinan. The result was Embrace Eternal Suffering which put the band on heavy metal fans radars both here and abroad, with the band even opening up for veteran acts like Incite and Necronomicon. The band has been busy since then, and are gearing up for an 8-city tour. For the occasion, they’ve invited Shanghai melodic death metal band EmbersArise, who draws inspiration from fantasy and mythological epics.
