Elen Payne, a Colombian-born, Berlin-based artist, co-owns Kindcrime Recordings and has been a key figure in shaping its underground aesthetic. For nearly a decade, she’s infused the label with her signature goth cyberpunk style, blending dark, futuristic elements with her eye for 3D and chromatic art. Her work often combines technology and emotion, drawing on themes of dystopia to create a sound that bridges the mechanical and organic worlds. Elen’s style incorporates elements of Dark Electro, Industrial, and Hardcore, often with a touch of sci-fi soundscapes and old-school Neurofunk drum and bass. Alessandro Nero, founder of Kindcrime since 2009, brings a darker approach to industrial and EBM techno. A veteran in modular synthesis and DJing for nearly 20 years, Alessandro has performed worldwide, often with his modular live setup. He’s released multiple albums and EPs under various aliases on several labels. His recent works include "Mythologies of Violence in Postmodern Media" (2020) and "Infected by Ideology" (2021), along with earlier releases such as "Explorations of Men and Creatures from Atlantis" (2017). His music has appeared on labels like INNERGATE, Gegen, No Gender, Maison Close, BRVTAL, and WarinD.
