Boston’s Pray for Sound returns to China with their sweeping post-rock. Colored with an uplighting veneer - their music is full of “sweeping and all-encompassing undercurrents of sound that evoke the likes of My Bloody Valentine, Tycho, and Explosions in the Sky.” One could clock it as a more streamlined, pop-conscious compositional approach - but damn it’s hard not to get swept up by its ‘radiant melodies, infectious grooves, and inspiring emotional heights’.
