Experimental music platform fit none joins forces with LiveChinaMusic to welcome the French lo-fi experimental rock band C.I.A Debutante. Together with three other musical acts that push the boundaries of music, they head to Cedar Kitchen - the charming cultural space - that’s part parking garage dance club, part dance floor, part tasty Middle Eastern café, and all fun. Hailing from France, CIA Debutante consists of Australian-born Nathan Roche and Paris-based Paul Bonnetdelivering fragmented guitar riffs over spoken-word vocals, manipulated synthesizers, and drum machines. Rooted in late-1970s post-punk, they've forged their own language by blending modernist sound experiments, free guitar improvisation, minimalist synth-pop, and rock masquerades. Joining the duo will be Shanghai-based experimental guitarist Zhu Songjie, Yifan of the Shanghai Oscillation Group, and CIA's own Nathan Roche. Finally, DJ "is it raining in your mouth" will guide us into a psychedelic wonderland afterwards. Radical.
