About

Qingdao’s Emo Cloud- bringing a more visceral noise pop approach to their sound. Leaning into the messy and raw emotion of the genre and tapping into an intangible angst that pours out via explosive musicality, disheveled evocative vocals, and a vulnerability that’s both heedless and sincere, the band gave one of my favorite sets last year, and so it’s rad to have them back already. Returning to Shanghai as part of their DIY tour, they’re taking over OKOK - the underground dive and live music oasis. And with support from our city’s own dinner in haze, except emotions are high.
