Beerkraze Craft Beer Festival is back on September 20–21 with two full days of lager madness. Expect 13 breweries pouring everything from crisp pilsners to barrel-aged experiments, plus street food, DJs, and sunset beer garden vibes. Entry is free, but beer sets are only available online—grab yours early before they sell out.
Laowaijie once again turns into Shanghai’s ultimate craft beer playground this September, and this time it’s all about Innovative Lagers. Forget everything you thought you knew about the style—these brews come dry-hopped, barrel-aged, fruit-spiked, and even wild-fermented. Across two days, 13 breweries will be serving up their boldest creations, from hop-forward pilsners to experimental pours that blur the line between classic and crazy.

Beyond the beer, the festival brings a full experience: blind tastings and flavor battles, food pairings crafted for lagers, and plenty of festival energy with live DJs, a sunset beer garden, and a street food lineup featuring German sausages, juicy burgers, and Italian panini.

Entry is free, but beer sets must be purchased online in advance—each one gets you a big pour of German or Belgian beer plus four half-glasses redeemable at any booth. Early bird sets are limited at 40 RMB, with regular sets at 50 RMB once they’re gone. No sales at the door, so secure yours early and get ready for two days of great beer, good food, and unbeatable vibes at Laowaijie.
