Deep Storage is a performance event/installation project initiated by the Danish artist Kristian Hornsleth. In December 2009 an iron sculpture measuring 5x5x5 meter will be placed in the Pacific ocean in the 11.000 meter deep Marianer Trench. The sculpture will contain 5000 blood drop and hair samples collected from people visiting Deep Storage events 30 locations around the world. May 6th, 2009 marks the city of Shanghai as a key destination for the project, to be held at Stageback Gallery for one night only. 6pm-10pm.
