Andy Tubman, a Philadelphia-born singer-songwriter and trained music therapist, returns to China after seven years for an intimate live performance. He will perform with guitarist Tony Something and drummer Daro Plebs, featuring re-arranged versions of his acclaimed song Quiet Inside and other works. The concert promises a raw, sincere musical experience with minimal instrumentation.
Andy Tubman’s music blends literary lyricism, folk honesty, and jazz and blues sensibilities to explore sensitive, unspoken emotions. Drawing on his background in music therapy and experiences working in psychiatric wards, his performances are designed to connect deeply with the audience. For this China tour, he presents minimalist arrangements with guitar and drums, keeping the focus on the purity of voice and emotional expression.

Singer-songwriter from Philadelphia, former lead singer of Los Angeles alternative rock band The Jane Doe’s, and trained music therapist. Known for connecting with sensitive audiences through poetic lyrics and soothing melodies.

Multi-instrumentalist based in San Pancho, Mexico, rooted in blues and soul. Has led a 10-piece funk band, opened for artists like Citizen Cope, Common, and Chuck Brown, and collaborates with Andy Tubman for live performances.
Drums: Daro Plebs

Born in Argentina in 1994, multi-genre drummer and producer influenced by Billy Cobham, Vinnie Colaiuta, and John Bonham. Collaborates with Andy Tubman and teaches drums from his home studio while performing internationally.
