From Hollywood film scores to organ classics, Anna Lapwood brings a modern perspective to the "King of Instruments." Experience immersive renditions of Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Interstellar, and organ masterpieces by Bach, Gigout, Glass, and Einaudi.
Anna Lapwood is renowned for making the organ accessible, engaging, and culturally relevant. Her recital, From Organ Classics to Hollywood Magic, juxtaposes cinematic scores with traditional organ repertoire, creating a soundscape that is both epic and intimate.

Expect the immersive energy of Hans Zimmer’s film scores (Chevaliers de Sangreal, Cornfield Chase, Pirates of the Caribbean), Howard Shore’s The Lord of the Rings arranged for organ, and John Williams’ Star Wars Duel of the Fates, alongside organ classics like Bach/Gounod Ave Maria and Gigout’s Toccata. Minimalist works by Philip Glass and Ludovico Einaudi highlight the organ’s dynamic range, while compositions by female composers Rachel Portman and Olivia Belli bring fresh, contemporary voices.
