Taking blue-and-white porcelain as both a cultural symbol and an open-ended starting point, this contemporary art presentation gathers nearly 100 works that reimagine one of China’s most enduring visual languages across time, media, and imagination. Once carried along the Silk Road and later reinterpreted across global artistic traditions, blue and white here is no longer treated as a fixed historical motif, but as a living system of references—continuously generated through painting, installation, digital media, and experimental practice. Organized into four loosely framed sections, the exhibition brings together established artists and younger voices in a shared exploration of how tradition can be reactivated in the present, where material heritage meets digital culture, and where image-making becomes a space of ongoing translation, connection, and reinvention.
