This is a 2-day intensive workshop focused on physical theatre and acting, exploring how body and impulse connect on stage. Led by theatre director Anji Taratuta and movement coach ICEX, the program combines acting tasks, physical training, and improvisation.
“ROCK UR BODY” is a two-day intensive designed for performers who work with the body on stage, including actors, dancers, choreographers, and directors. The workshop focuses on bridging acting and physical expression, exploring how inner impulse translates into physical action.

The training works at the intersection of acting, movement, and stage presence. Participants move between physical exercises, acting tasks, improvisation, and scene work, allowing body and impulse to function as one continuous process rather than separate disciplines.

Core principles include the relationship between impulse, action, emotion, and physical form, with an emphasis on building authentic stage presence and performance awareness.

After the workshop, participants are expected to:

Film and theatre director, co-founder of HART STUDIO, and creator of acting and filmmaking programs. She is trained across multiple institutions including the Russian State Institute of Cinematography, CIFA (France), New York Film Academy, and La Fémis (Paris), with specialization in narrative and documentary filmmaking.

Actor, physical theatre coach, acting coach, composer, and founder of ICEX company. Co-founder of the DMS education program. Holds postgraduate-level training from UCLA (USA), Point Blank (UK), WAVES (USA), and Gnesinki (Russia).
This intensive is designed for performers who want to strengthen the connection between body and performance. Instead of treating acting and movement separately, the workshop integrates both into a single process, focusing on impulse-driven performance and physical awareness. It is suited for those looking to deepen their stage presence and expand beyond text-based acting approaches.
